The Glory Of Fuji Music To Be Restored In Nigeria By K1 De Ultimate With “Fuji The Sound EP” (A MUST READ)
Some years back Fuji music enjoys more than what it is now The Glory of Fuji Music In Nigeria.
Back in the days, of Late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, Ayinla Omowura, Haruna Ishola, KWAM 1 to the days of Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Saheed Osupa, Remi Aluko, fuji music was big back then.
These musicians record huge album sales back then and even their musical shows are always sold out because the street love them and could easily access their music.
How Pop Music Relegated Fuji Music
Gone are the days of physical purchase of cassette or CDs to consume music.
In this era, things have moved from cassette buying to music download on mobile phones or any digital storage devices.
These technological advancement in music consumption does not favour Fuji musicians because their contents are always very long and take a lot of space making it difficult for fuji music lovers to have a lot of them at once on their devices.
This is unlike pop tracks which are not always longer than 4 mins and take less space on storage devices.
Just because A-List fuji artistes could not quickly adapt to this advancement, Fuji music got relegated to division 2 of Nigeria’s music industry.
Many Fuji musicians are now forcing collaborations with pop artistes to stay relevant. Many of them are even trying to abandon Fuji for pop.
How K1 De Ultimate Moved To Restore The Glory Of Fuji Music With Fuji The Sound EP
King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall finally stepped in this year to set good example for other Fuji artistes.
Instead of a Fuji Musician trying to Sound Like hip-hop artistes, why not Fuji The Sound?
This formed the major reason, King Wasiu Ayinde embarked on the Fuji The Sound EP project.
The EP is a 100% Fuji music project produced by Mystro which had the combination of some KWAM 1 songs in his past Fuji projects.
K1 De Ultimate actually delivered Fuji Music in EP format, same way hip-pop artiste do it, the tracks are short and interesting with huge replay value.
If you’ve listened to K1’s Fuji The Sound EP, you will notice that it is sweet from start to finish.
Imagine, other Fuji artistes go in this same line of format in delivering their music, the long lost glory of Fuji music will be restored and all upcoming fuji musicians will be bold enough to come out as Fuji musicians instead of hiding under the guise of street-pop.
Special thanks to King Wasiu Ayinde for this Fuji The Sound EP. It’s a job well done👍👍
